Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the oriental cause and treatment of the polyhidrosis of hands and feet.
Methods: It was studied 47 kinds of Oriental Medical literature for polyhidrosis of hands and feet
Results: Polyhidrosis of hands and feet due to lowered superficial resistance brought on by deficiency of qi. Main pathogenesis(Ü»ì×ܻѦ) is the heat in the middle energizer(ñéõ¥æð) such as heat in the stomach(êÖæð) and the spleen and stomach heat stagnation(Þ¡êÖîÝæð), deficient in Yin and Yang, qi and blood(ëäåÕѨúì), and retention of undigested food(ãÝîÝ) due to improper diet(ëæãÝÜôÒö). Treating method(ö½Ûö) is eliminating dampness and regulating the stomach(ôèæððÏøîûúñé), invigorating, replenishing spleen qi(ÜÍìÌޡѨ), and nourishing the stomach Yin(í²å×êÖëä). Treating prescription(ö½Û°) is presented as Palmultang with Additional Ingredients Rhi.zoma Pinelliae, Pona for principle drug Rhi.zorm Typfwnii Radix Aconiti for adjuvant and messenger drug(ø¢Úª÷·Ê¥Úâù¾ ÜÚÖ½ÏÖ ÛÜݾí ô¹è¡êÓî¤ÞÅ), Daeshihotang(ÓÞãÃû×÷·), Cheongbisan(ôèޡߤ), Moryeosan(ÙÀÕîߤ) etc. The external treatments(èâéÄÛö) are described as ways of washing hand and foot after steaming with boiled Decoction(ÙÀÕîߤ) of AJurnen(ÛÜÚó); Radix Puerariae(ËëÊç), Radix Astragali(üÜ?); Radix Puerariae(ËëÊç), Herba Schiwnepetae(ûªËÎ); Radix Saposhnikoviae (ÛÁù¦), ÛÜÚó(AIumen). The acupuncture recipes (öÝö½ÖûÛö) are the toninfication(ÜÍ) of Buryu(KI 7)(ÜÖ׶) ; Eumgeuk(HT 6)(ëä?), tonification(ÜÍ) methods of Buryu(KI 7)(ÜÖ׶) ; Gihae(CC 6)(Ѩú) and reduction(à³) of Hapgok(LI 4)(ùêÍÛ), the reduction(à³) of Hapgok(LI 4)(ùêÍÛ), tonification of Buryu(Kl 7)(ÜÖ׶), reduction(à³) of Jigu(TE 6)(ò¨Ïµ) ; Taechung(LR 3)(÷¼õú) ; Yangneungcheon (GB 34)(åÕ×Áô»). and selection of points of Hapgok(Li 4) (ùêÍÛ) and Nogung(PC 8)(ÖÌÏà). The Tui-na therapies (õÏÑÚÖûÛö) are removing heat from the stomach meridian(ôèêÖÌèO) and so on.
